Day 18~20 Update


Well! I forgot to update for a couple days, and some notes from day 18 got lost... Either way, no biggie, because ultimately all notes were on bugs fixed, and what's the point writing out a bug if it's already fixed... right? Hopefully the issues I solved are actually solved, and I can keep moving forward with almost being done in terms of the tutorial zone bugfixing. I'm looking forward to moving into art & building a steam page (as that's been pretty solidified as the way forward.

Either way I'll be keeping this project updated as long as possible, though steam does make that a little more complicated, I'll still do my best to make sure there is at least /a/ version of the game available here. With that here are the changelogs, and I'll be hopefully remembering to write & update tomorrow, as I've totally lost track of time the past few post-dev sessions!

Changelog: 

  • Fixed doors not properly marking themselves as closed/open
  • added saving functionality for enabling/disabling of components 
  • fixed issue with sky lighting changing and not being saved 
  • fixed player being able to move while ragdolled
  • made sky beams re-activate their collision event triggers 
  • also fixed sky beams never turning off 
  • fixed save state for billy staying out of cave colliders 
  • reworked enabling/disabling of staying out of cave colliders 
  • converted combat system into immediately dealing damage instead of post-calculation 
  • made sure spell system also abides by the new way of dealing damage 
  • configured durability displays to not draw their bars when using fists (no durability to display) 
  • modified NPC behavior to more properly respect parry-animations (in other words, won't move, won't attack, etc.)
