Day 16 Update
Today was rather productive! More and more of these savable objects are getting handled, and I'm very much starting to hit a point where I'll soon have none of them left to add save data for or otherwise fix! Ideally after the next few days I'll finally be able to implement the auto-saving and all the other stuff that needs to be done!!
I'm very much enjoying getting back into the swing of doing fully-documented updates (As for a loooong time in this past year I have just made changes and committed them without taking notes). Lookin' foward to getting more input from folks, I'll probably make a bigger deal about some update in the relatively near-future and try to do another gathering of thoughts/opinions/issues outside of just my community over on twitch, but either way I'm just enjoying the process and having a good time fixing stuff up.
As a side-note, I've previously mentioned that I stream over on Twitch, but I also have a Patreon where, if you choose to throw some support my way, you will receive a permanent credit in my game's credits list, or any other game project I happen to work on while you are a Patron. - added saveableobject components to multiple event triggers
- created save data for event triggers
- fixed non-completion issue with missingobjectevent & made sure it saves
- made sure healing flowers and other such harvestables will save their states
- fixed occasional issue with rolling through spawn point colliders causing the player to not have a designated spawn point
- added save functionality to harvestable plants
- fixed issue with NPC's not holding onto their "walk to and talk" routines
Known Issues:
- save file names are still all janky in web-builds
- game very briefly unpauses between menus
- notification panel is still acting weird post-load or potentially in general
- camera loads in incorrect position for a split-second before adjusting
- logo is now not animating properly in load screens due to the game being paused
